 Northern Forest Explorers Youth Program > Winter 2012 Weekend Outings The Northern Forest Explorers Program invites all youth ages 10-14 to explore the beauty of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail during the winter! NFE alumni and newcomers to the program are welcome. Scholarships are available. Gear can be provided. Particpants sleep in heated cabins and learn about cold-weather skills, and winter natural exploration including ice fishing, animal tracking, storytelling, and snowshoeing.
