7 Islands Bridge to Pontook Reservoir (View on Map Tool)
This section of the Upper Androscoggin River is a great introduction to moving water with a 1.5 mile section of Class I whitewater. Swim from the boom piers, the man-made islands once used during log drives. Take in eagles, osprey and perhaps even a grazing moose in the placid Pontook Reservoir.
