In the summer of 2015, Laurie Apgar Chandler solo thru-paddled the NFCT and has recently released Upwards, the story of her 53-day journey at age 53.  Laurie will be talking about the NFCT and signing copies of Upwards at this family-owned bookstore, located in the Northgate Plaza in the North Deering section of Portland, where there is plenty of free parking.
