There is an archeological dig in progress along the Missisquoi River within the Missisquoi NWR. I had the chance to chat with the archeologists during an open house on site yesterday, and they told me about finding tool flakes of Mt Kineo rhyolite along with other debris from thousands of years of habitation in the Missisquoi delta. I’d love to see a trip report from the people who carried those rocks from Maine to Vermont!
