Freshet Film Festival set for April 25 in Concord

The Freshet Film Festival will be hosted at Red River Theatres on Thursday, April 25.

Presented by the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, Contoocook River Canoe Co., New Hampshire Fish & Game and NRS, the festival will showcase paddlesports, outdoor recreation and conservation films from across the globe. All proceeds go toward the NFCT’s stewardship of the 740-mile waterway trail that connects Old Forge, NY, to Fort Kent, Maine.

“We’re excited to bring the Freshet Fest to Concord,” said Karrie Thomas, executive director of the NFCT. “These film fests give the paddling community an opportunity to connect, socialize and get inspired as the paddling season kicks off.”

This year’s film lineup includes features produced by Maine the Way, NRS and curated by the Maine Outdoor Film Festival. The Concord showing starts at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30. Refreshments will be available and paddling prizes will be raffled at intermission.

Tickets cost $15 online and $18 at the door; students can purchase tickets for $12 with a valid ID. Click here to buy tickets!
