Adirondack Canoe Classic

The Adirondack Canoe Classic — known as the 90-Miler — is an Adirondack tradition that dates back over three decades. The annual event, which takes place over three days on the weekend after Labor Day, takes paddlers from Old Forge, NY to Saranac Lake, NY, the first 90 miles of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. This year’s 90-Miler is set for Sept. 6-8. Registration will be held July 1-31.

Adirondack Paddling Symposium

A comprehensive weekend of paddling instruction for paddlers offering beginner and intermediate course tracks for kayaks, pack boats, SUPs and canoes. This year’s Symposium is set for June 14-17.

Long Lake Long Boat Regatta

The Northern Forest Canoe Trail closes out its Adirondack Race Series by partnering with Long Lake Recreation and Tourism to host the Long Lake Long Boat Regatta each year on the last Saturday in September. This year’s Regatta is set for Sept. 21.

Missisquoi Paddle-Pedal

The Missisquoi Paddle-Pedal combines 6.5 miles of paddling down the Missisquoi River and 5 miles of cycling on the adjacent Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail. Food, music and an awards ceremony finish the day at Davis Park in Richford, Vermont. This year’s Paddle-Pedal is set for July 13.

The Rangeley Oquossoc Adventure Rendezvous showcases the landscapes of Richardson, Mooselookmeguntic and Rangeley lakes. The inaugural ROAR is set for June 29-30. Registration begins April 1.

‘Round the Mountain Canoe & Kayak Race/’Round the Mountain Weekend

The ‘Round the Mountain Canoe & Kayak Race is an Adirondack favorite, taking place annually on the second Saturday of May — the unofficial kickoff event of the Adirondack paddling season. This year’s RTM is set for May 11. New this year is ‘Round the Mountain Weekend, a full weekend of paddling activities in addition to the traditional Saturday race.

Waterway Work Trips

Get your hands dirty, support the trail and meet people with similar interests. Join us for a weekend working with staff and interns improving portage trails and campsites, building access points or installing safety signage. Meet like minded paddlers. And we always make time for paddling.
