Magalloway River, Wentworth Location to Androscoggin River, Errol
The slow moving Magalloway offers paddlers a protetected and wildlife rich way to access Lake Umbagog. Bring binoculars to view nesting eagles as you come onto the expansive waters of Lake Umbagog. Continue south to Errol past grazing moose and song birds in the abundant wetlands of the Androscoggin River headwaters. Camping is available at one of the remote sites managed by the Umbagog State Park Campground (reservations required). Shuttles available.
