Stewardship Crew Leader: The Crew Leader will work along a team of stewardship interns to implement projects along the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, a 740-mile water trail that traverses New York, Vermont, Quebec, New Hampshire, and Maine. The Crew Leader will be responsible for overseeing crew operations, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, and working with interns and volunteers to complete stewardship projects. Stewardship Interns: Three interns will work as a team to complete trail work along the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. Following more than two weeks of training, interns will complete a variety of hands-on field projects, including constructing new campsites, installing stone staircases, and clearing portage trails.
