The Vermont Trail Accessibility Hub will host a virtual Collaborative Design Workshop on Aug. 6 from 1 to 3 pm to discuss survey findings and develop next steps for the Trail Accessibility Hub. All interested trail users are invited to attend.
The Trail Accessibility Hub (TAH) is a project that aims to expand trail accessibility in Vermont and create accessible outdoor experiences for everyone. Workshop topics include:
- Building a shared understanding of Vermont’s trail accessibility needs and existing resources.
- Developing priorities, among various accessibility needs, that advance trail accessibility for the broadest number of people while also being inclusive of more particular needs
- Generating concrete ways for trail users to shape the next phase of the project.
Workshop facilitators include:
- Gretchen Elias (she/her) is a consultant with the Vermont Trail Accessibility Hub. She is developing a sustainability strategy for the Hub.
- Rae Carter (she/ki) of EmpowR Transformation is providing equity facilitation support.
