“Beta testers” needed for our a new trail app

The Northern Forest Canoe Trail and the Allagash Wilderness Waterway Foundation are partnering with Guthook Guides to create a smart phone based map and guide for our routes. The GPS enabled app will allow users the ability to locate themselves on an interactive map, even when there is no cell service. It will also host descriptions and photos of sites along the trail, from rapids to primo campsites, and help users quickly calculate distances to the destination. We are looking for beta testers who are willing to help us test out the app this summer.

In exchange for double-checking the locations of waypoints, reporting missing sites, taking photos of sites along the trail, and improving written descriptions, testers will receive free access to the guide and good karma for helping your fellow paddlers. If you are interested in being a beta tester, please complete the form below. Please note you will need to provide your Guthook Guides username, which you can can create after downloading the free Guthook Guides app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
