Take a scenic, relaxing paddle through three interconnected ponds in Greenwood, Maine. The banks of North, South, and Round ponds, while dotted with private houses, remain attractive and have wonderful mountain views. A good place to start this day paddle is Round Pond Public Access. Work your way through a large culvert to North Pond, home to “Rock Island,” a good place to stop for lunch after circumnavigating the lake. For a longer trip, continue your loop through Round Pond and South Ponds, with a couple spots to stretch your legs or even go for a hike!
