Online Auction Supports NFCT Stewardship, Programs

The Northern Forest Canoe Trail will host its annual online auction Nov. 15-30 to support stewardship and programming along the 740-mile water trail that connects New York, Vermont, Quebec, New Hampshire and Maine.

The auction features gear and experiences donated by businesses, organizations and artisans across the Northern Forest region and the nation.

“2022 was a big year for the NFCT, with thousands of people participating in our events and a robust stewardship season. It takes a huge lift to deliver on our promise of enhancing and maintaining access to the canoe trail and promoting paddling for all; this auction plays an important role in making sure we can continue this important work.” — Karrie Thomas, NFCT Executive Director

Each fall, the NFCT gathers quality products and services from trail-side businesses and corporate partners from the outdoor industry to appeal to paddling and outdoor enthusiasts. This year’s auction features items from regional businesses like Mac’s Canoe Livery in Lake CLear, NY, Great Glen Trails in Gorham, NH, and Maine Island Trail Association. National Partners include Werner Paddles, EXPED and L.L. Bean. To bid, donate or view a list of available items, visit bit.ly/nfctauction22.
