The Northern Forest Canoe Trail (NFCT) is co-hosting Rapid Media’s Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour 2014 on Wednesday, April 16 with the New Hampshire Fish & Game Department at Red River Theatres in Concord, NH. The film festival showcases the best paddling films from around the world.
The Reel Paddling Film Festival is in its ninth year and features award winning films in 10 categories. The festival inspires people to explore rivers, lakes and oceans, push physical and emotional extremes, embrace the paddling lifestyle and appreciate the heritage of wild places.
As the guardian of the state’s fish, wildlife, and marine resources, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department oversees hundreds of access points for boating of all kinds, and offers programs on boating safety and the prevention of the spread of aquatic invasive species. Contoocook River Canoe Company is also partnering for this event and will be on hand with some great raffle items for attendees. Films will be selected from entrants to the 2014 Reel Paddling Film Festival .
The showing start at 7pm on Wednesday, April 16 at Red River Theatres, 11 South Main St., Concord, NH. There are no ticket sales for this event through the theatre box office. Tickets can be purchased for $12 adults/$10 students online in advance, or $15 at the door.
Proceeds from this event support the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. This showing is one of four screenings of the film festival that NFCT is hosting throughout New York and New England.
