Northern Forest Canoe Trail Seeks Partnership & Marketing Director

The Partnership & Marketing Director is a new position intended to generate revenues and partnerships that support our strategic program delivery.

WAITSFIELD, Vt. – The Northern Forest Canoe Trail, Inc. (NFCT) is now accepting applications for a Partnership & Marketing Director. Founded in 2000, NFCT is a non-profit based in Waitsfield, Vt. that stewards a 740-mile canoe and kayak route traversing lakes, ponds, rivers, streams and portage trails from the Adirondacks to northern Maine.

The Partnership & Marketing Director is a new position at NFCT, and will be responsible for NFCT’s corporate and business partner programs, public relations and marketing strategies, and event management. The Partnership & Marketing Director will work closely with NFCT staff and the Board to build organizational resources and awareness, and to achieve long-term partnership and marketing goals. The Northern Forest Canoe Trail is a 740 mile inland paddling trail tracing historic travel routes across New York, Vermont, Québec, New Hampshire, and Maine. NFCT connects people to the Trail’s natural environment, human heritage, and contemporary communities by stewarding, promoting, and providing access to canoe and kayak experiences along this route.  NFCT, Inc was incorporated in 2000 and is a 501(c)3 membership organization.
